Rio Grande is a mid complexity operational level wargame covering the Confederate offensive into New Mexico in 1862, during the Civil War. The map covers New Mexico and is overlaid with a hexagonal grid to regulate movement and combat. Counters are companies of infantry and cavalry and artillery batteries.

Game includes a 17" by 22" mapsheet, 100 die-cut counters and rules.
