This issue of Rally Point is directed at ASL players who may not own Schwerpunkt or have never played a Schwerpunkt scenario, but have always wanted to do so. The scenarios are presented in the Schwerpunkt easy-to-read format on high-quality cardstock.

RPT61 Duel at Reuler: REULER, Luxemburg, 17 December 1944: Captain Lybarger, leading platoon of Sherman tanks, helps the 2nd Battalion, 112th Infantry clear out five troublesome panzers and some halftracks which have established themselves in the village on board 17.

RPT62 An Arm and a Leg: SAN TERENZO, Italy, 21 April 1945: Second Lieutenant Daniel K. Inouye leads a two platoons of infantry in a desperate attack against Germans holding a trench line and a pillbox. Set on board 9, this is the battle for which Senator Inouye was awarded the Medal of Honor.

RPT63 Wollersheim!: WOLLERSHEIM, Germany, 2 March 1945: Pershing tanks and infantry form the 9th Armored Division attack to seize one of two hills that are defended by a tough group of German paratroops, supported by a JgdPz V and a 105mm RCL. This is a beefy scenario that has OBA on both sides and plenty of action. It uses boards 2 and 41.

RPT64 Led to the Slaughter: CISTERNA, Italy, 30 January 1944: This is a medium sized scenario that has elements of the 3rd Ranger Battalion trying to advance in the face of a stubborn group of panzergrenadiers from the Herman Goring Panzer Division. This scenario uses boards 16, 19, 33 and 38.

RPT65 The Amazing Tominac: CISTERNA, Italy, 30 January 1944: This is a medium sized scenario that has elements of the 3rd Ranger Battalion trying to advance in the face of a stubborn group of panzergrenadiers from the Herman Goring Panzer Division. This scenario uses boards 16, 19, 33 and 38.

RPT66 Ils Ne Passerant Pas: CASA BERARDI, Italy, 14 December 1943: Captain Paul Triquet’s company of Le Royal 22e Regiment supported by Sherman tanks attacks to seize the Casa Berardi crossroads on board 24 and repel a strong German counter-attack. With mortars, tanks and lots of machine guns on both sides, this action packed, combined arms battle is sure to keep you on edge to the end.

RPT67 The Last Tiger: PILLAU, Samland, East Prussia, 26 April 1945: This is a heavy metal Eastern Front action featuring a Nashorn and a Tiger verses a horde of Russian armor including IS-2s and an ISU-152. This scenario is uses boards 3 and 17.

RPT68 Assaulting Tes: TES, Hungary, 21 March 1945: Four Jagdpanthers and panzergrenadiers attack across the board 50 ridge to clear the board 48 village of Russian infantry, T34/85s and SU-76ms in this medium sized combined arms action.

RPT69 Twilight of the Reich: FRISCHE NEHRUNG, East Prussia, 6 May 1945: Three Jagdpanthers and their supporting infantry defend on boards 44 and 48 in this 4.5 turn tournament action against a determined group of 5-2-7s and 4-4-7s accompanied by ISU-152s and T-34/85s. This is a fast-playing tournament favorite.

RPT70 The Five Pound Prize: FONTENAY LE PESNEL, France, 25 June 1944: A company from the British 49th Infantry Division defends Fontenay Le Pesnel while infantry and PzIVs of the 12th SS Panzer Division attacks to clear them from their board 22 strongpoint. This is a 5 turn tournament scenario with lots of tense action on board 22.
